What is LactoBoost?

LactoBoost is a palatable high energy, lactose rich, free-flowing liquid proven by research at SRUC to effectively replace cereal and maintain milk and milk constituent yield.

It provides a rapidly available source of rumen energy from milk sugar, aids fibre digestion and improves efficiency of protein utilisation. It is a cost-effective source of ready to feed sugar.

When LactoBoost is evaluated in a range of rations from grass silage only through to combination of GS with wholecrop and maize silage and stipulating a minimum sugar value of 5% in the DM: LactoBoost is always valued above £58.50/T.
