Molale

An extremely palatable free flowing blend of Cane Molasses and distillery syrups, designed to stimulate dry matter intake. Molale provides valuable protein and high energy predominantly as sucrose sugars and residual carbohydrates from grain fermentation and yeast.

Recommended daily feed rates (per head basis)

Molale can be fed as part of a TMR, within a blend or as a straight liquid by pouring onto
other feeds or via ball feeders.

• Milking Cows: Up to 4 (typically 2)kg

• Dry Cows: Up to 2 kg

• Replacement Heifers: Up to 3 kg and up to 20% of the DMI

• Calves (to 12 weeks): Up to 0.5 kg and up to 10% of the DMI

• Growing Cattle: Up to 1.5 kg and up to 20% of the DMI

• Finishing Cattle: Up to 3 kg and up to 20% of the DMI

• Suckler Cows: Up to 4 (typically 2)kg

• Ewes and Rams: Up to 0.5 (typically 0.25)kg

• Hoggets and Lambs: Up to 0.5 kg and up to 10% of the DMI

DMI = dry matter intake

• Molale is delivered in 10, 20 and 28t load sizes in 28 tonne bulk articulated tankers and is available UK wide,
all year around.

• Molale has a specific gravity of 1.30kg/litre or a density of 770 litres per tonne.

• Tanks should be built to hold and dispatch bulk liquids. They should be well maintained and cleaned out
regularly to prevent the build-up of sediment.

• A minimum 4-inch diameter pipe work is advised to handle Molale.

Molale should be used within 3 months of delivery.

Molale is predominantly a blend of Cane Molasses from sugar production and distillery syrups.

Molale is a FEMAS assured (or a recognised equivalent) product and is marketed by KW Alternative Feeds a UFAS-accredited merchant.
