• Oatfeed Pellets are available all year round, UK wide, as bulk tipped loads.
• Like all dry feeds, they should be stored in a secure shed, bunker, bin or hopper and kept cool, dry and free from vermin.
• As no external binders or additives are used in Oatfeed, some pellet breakdown is expected during handing and delivery.
Oatfeed Pellets are a co-product from the production of oat based breakfast cereals; whole oats are rolled and the husks removed by screening. Oatfeed Pellets consist predominantly of husks but also endosperm, small grains and screen dust which are finely ground together and pelleted.
Oatfeed Pellets are a FEMAS assured (or a recognised equivalent) product and are marketed by KW Alternative Feeds a UFAS-accredited merchant. Oatfeed Pellets are listed under number 1.4.11 in the EU Catalogue of Feed Materials.
