The predicted responses (benefits) assume that the specified nutrient, physical or structural
dietary components are limiting livestock performance in the current ration.

• Milking Cows: Up to 3 (typically 1.5)kg

• Dry Cows: Up to 1 kg* Not suitable for partial or full DCAB systems

• Replacement Heifers: Up to 1.5 kg and up to 10% of the DMI

• Youngstock: >4 months with a functioning rumen up to 0.5 kg and up to 10% of the DMI

• Growing Cattle: Up to 1.0 kg and up to 10% of the DMI

• Finishing Cattle: Up to 3 kg and up to 20% of the DMI

• Suckler Cows: Up to 3 (typically 1.5)kg

DMI = dry matter intake

• Potblack is delivered in bulk tankers with discounts available for 10, 15, 20 and 28T loads. It is available UK
wide, all year around.

• Potblack has a specific gravity of 1.32kg/litre or a density of 741 Litres per tonne.

• Tanks should be built to hold and dispatch bulk liquids. They should be well maintained and cleaned out
regularly to prevent the build-up of sediment.

• A minimum 4-inch diameter pipe work is adequate to handle Potblack.

Potblack should be used within 3 months of delivery.

Potblack is a blend of Cane Molasses from sugar production, liquids from the human food and drinks industry and urea. The liquid is produced using a ‘regulated release technology’ to ensure the slow release of its nitrogen content coincides with energy availability.

Potblack is a FEMAS assured (or a recognised equivalent) product and is marketed by KW Alternative Feeds a UFAS-accredited merchant.
